BlitzBooks has one calendar for your jobs, tasks and meetings, by day, week or month. Booked jobs land on their dates, the week view shows how many hours each day already holds, and Auto-plan drafts a week from your unbooked jobs for you to check before anything is saved. Reminders can go off on your phone before a job.
How it works in the app
- Step 1
Set your working week
In Settings, pick the days you work, the hours in a working day and the time your crew starts.
- Step 2
Book the jobs
Give each job a start date, an optional end date and times, and how long it will take. Jobs that run over several days span their dates.
- Step 3
Plan and get reminded
Arrange the week yourself, or tap Auto-plan for a draft to review. Pick Remind me on a job and allow notifications on your phone.

Auto-plan, with you in charge
It drafts dates for unbooked jobs inside your working days and hours. Nothing is saved until you confirm, and it will not guess how to split a job longer than a day.

Reminders on your phone
Choose 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours before, or the night before, on any phone where you allow BlitzBooks notifications.

Repeating tasks
Set a task to repeat daily, weekly or monthly. Skip one day or delete the whole series.

Questions about scheduling
Do I need job cards switched on to use the calendar?
Tasks and meetings work for everyone. Booked jobs, the hours per day and Auto-plan appear once you turn on Track jobs and scheduling in Settings.
Does Auto-plan change my bookings on its own?
No. Auto-plan makes a draft plan for you to review. Nothing is saved until you confirm it, and you can discard it.
Who gets the job reminders?
You do, on any phone where you have allowed BlitzBooks notifications. Job reminders go to the business owner, not to field techs.
Can my field techs see the schedule?
Yes, on the Team plan. A field tech sees the jobs on the calendar, but not your own tasks, quotations or invoices. See team logins.
