BlitzBooks is a quoting and invoicing app operated by Social Agencies, a web, software and AI agency based in Cape Town, South Africa. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
We collect only what we need to run the service for you:
We use your data only to provide BlitzBooks to you — to store your documents, calculate VAT, generate reports and let you sign in. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Your data is stored in the cloud with Supabase. Every account is fully isolated using row-level security, so no other user can ever see your clients or numbers. Data is encrypted in transit, and we keep daily backups. You can export all of your data from inside the app at any time.
Subscriptions are processed by Paystack. Your card details are entered directly with Paystack and are never stored on our systems.
We use only the storage strictly needed to keep you signed in and run the app. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. You can edit or delete most data directly in the app and export everything via the in-app backup. To request full account deletion, email us and we will action it.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our active systems; residual copies in routine backups age out over time.
